War bis zum Jahre 1986 der Markt der Veröffentlichungen von "non-fiction Jack the Ripper"-Literatur mit 29 Werken recht überschaubar, stieg die Zahl der erhältlichen Bücher von 1987 bis jetzt auf weit über 100 Bücher an. Sicherlich können viele dieser Werke ignoriert werden und sind nicht lesenswert, trotzdem möchten wir Ihnen hier eine Auswahl an Literatur und sonstigen medialen Veröffentlichungen (Dokumentationen, Filme etc.), die sich mit den Whitechapel-Morden befassen, vorstellen.
